I know it must hurt to have your guildmates blatantly caught cheating and in your attempt to deflect, make yourself look like one of the most ignorant players on Project 1999, but you're going to have to come to terms with the fact that you either condone the actions of your mass-invited guild or that you're just absolutely unable to control all of the terrible players it contains. So which is it?

Using a programmable keyboard to map a bind from the standard set of keys on a keyboard to the extra macro keys whichever fancy portion the keyboard puts them on is not against the rules.
Now, if your keyboard allows you to hold down a button - which many modern ones do, you should check them out - instead of jamming it, wtf is the issue exactly? Seeing as it is pretty impossible to tape down a key on the normal set of keys (try getting any letter key to stay down, for example), but possible to tape down the keys that are set for macros, there is nothing strange at all going on here. The difference is between holding the key down with your finger or having it held down for you. There is nothing devious about this whatsoever. No rules were broken. No macro loops created. There is no ruling on this anywhere to my knowledge that makes this against the rules. Thanks kids. | ||
