You can have fun with all casters. Enchanters are obviously really powerful as far as PvE goes and it's a toss up in PvP. They can be real easy targets and if played against right it will be a challenge for you being the Enchanter 1v1. A lot more people on this box use things like crimson pots that you didn't see on live much.

People say wizards are overpowered right now because resists aren't the same as classic. People beef up on MR because you need so much so there really isn't much room for the amount of FR and CR you need to shield you from wizard DD. Partial resists aren't up to par here. Melee also have a tough time hitting people not on the same plane, so if you are levitating you have an advantage over melee.

Yes in open areas it is a big deal, in dungeons where melees shine not so much. You gotta get your peggy cloak and try to chase them around outside, can't hit from below.

Yea it's mostly all posturing and drama.

My guild is better than your guild, heartbrand did THIS today, and people that don't even play on the server anymore talking about vague recollections of that one time they SWORE a particular npc did a certain thing.

I'm guilty of it too. But a newcomer (and most sane people) would look at this cesspool of a forums and say 'i aint got time for dat' and not play on the server.

Just giving fair warning.

Look up Dropshadow in game if you are looking for some group action. Im leveling with an SK I met and we're looking for more people to do some content eventually...we're around lvl 13 at the moment...

I wonder if z-axis is being taken into account for both melee and spell range. I know it is for spell range.
