No one really believes that TMO doesn't think Trak is a big deal. For all your big talk about how you want a contest in VP, you are absolutely terrified of another guild getting a raid force keyed. If you wanted a real contest you would leave Trak open and say bring it on, you all only need Trak loot on your 3rd string alts anyway.

So stop trying to make that argument, its sad.

Alarti, you are missing my point. My point is not that VP and Trak are different. My point is that TMO claims Trak is not a big deal and yet expends more resources to guarantee Trak lockdown than any other raid mob in the game. How many other mobs do you offer "FTE payment" for? How many other guaranteed drops do you charge 500k for (off a 3-day spawn)?

I believe you when you say VP train-fest is vastly different than the Trak lotto, and FE/BDA/whoever will have to deal with TMO's superior experience in the zone when they get there. But that's not what I'm arguing, and its telling that you are skirting the issue.

They've offered 50K for VS FTE on at least two occasions since early November.

Still less than the 80k they offered for Trak at the last 'sock I saw. But VS is the mob they are more consistently losing (if RNF is to be believed), so I could see why they'd want to regain some face on VS with an FTE payment.
