very cool tool thank you. Sometimes it really does feel like a waste of time in some groups, I will sometime just log, now I will have some idea why.

I do agree that GearScore in WOW helped ruin that game, "LFM GS XXXX or over only" = FAIL.

+1, that's why I always logged out with my PVP gear on. People are a joke. Regrettably though, WoW was the type of game where when gear score actually came out, it was quite useful to judge people's effectiveness.

Was bored and made online javascript version that does the same thing.

I like the javascript version, thanks for writing it. Is it properly accounting for the amount of xp required to finish hell levels?

It should account for hell xp for all levels. The java version did, and I checked his source code and saw that he converted everything - including that portion.

The Ogre SK actually needs more XP than the Iksar monk.

Ogre SK = 1.15 * 1.40 = 1.61 (161%)
I'm soooo glad I got my Ogre SK to 60, before someone pulls this "hmmm my exp calculator says you can't remain in group fattie".

This doesn't account for a balanced group that kills slower than an unbalanced group, does it? Exp distribution isn't the only thing to consider for creating groups. Sucky players suck way more exp than a competent Troll SK. (i.e. rogues who take damage)

I don't think SKs and Pallys would get much of that, they fill their role in a group well. Rangers on the other hand.......
