Joined this guild for a short while on the progression server on live... they didn't make it there either.

Yep, Combine server. Between Realm of Insanity's 24 active hours a day requirement and Fires of Heaven's 50+ man monk train army they didn't stand a chance.

Ooooh combine. I really don't remember this server only played 2 weeks into kunark. Thought you meant the newest progression Fippy. Was on Combine in RoI and on Fippy in Twisted Legion

Yeah they were there, they didn't do too much though, only notable thing I recall was that they got the first Talendor/Sev kills. They didn't seem like very bad peeps to get along with though. RoI on the other hand, I don't know how anyone could stand being in that guild for more than a month without having a serious pixel-addiction problem. What a bunch of dicks, the whole lot of them.

It's really touch and go with people from guilds like that. Pixel lust all time high, sure. But that's their choice. As far as them all being dicks, it's more of a guild reputation thing, where as if you were to get to know the people on a more personal level it isn't like that at all. I remember 3 things from combine that still really stick out to me.
1) Raiding poSky on 4th of July.
2) Dominos just came out with the 5x5x5 deal. Ate real poorly for 8 weeks!
3) Coordinating sleeping schedules with group members.

I just remember being the first person on the server to complete the Staff of the Wheel quest and after proudly linking it in /gu promptly getting kicked out of the guild for not grinding, officer telling me in /gu that it was the last straw and that it was bad enough that I hardly ever logged in because I had a job (I worked fulltime and still managed to log in 10-12 hours a day).

Joined WI a week later and while they didn't accomplish much they were much much more enjoyable to be around.
