Best lesson to take away from all this:

Staff and development attention are a sure fire way to keep interest and gain new interest in the server. Worth stating the obvious.

People say red is a shit fest, but in the early days when Rogean was handling raid disputes and coding... I mean you wanna see a piss and shit fest lol.

He's probably just a bit burned out from that.

However, there's really no good games on the horizon.. so...

Then again I heard word of a Star Wars MMO xpac so you might be doomeded.

In any event, I'd take a non response on any task delegations as an "OK do it"... HINT HINT HINT HINT HINT.

Coming from someone who actually played SWTOR a bit, the new expac is a joke, it's more like a LOY type add on except half the content.

if there had been a 2nd tstaff monk present our team probably would have been wiped out. Mellow was made a captain instead of dekedenz and tune was given first pick, thus locking the only 2 bards onto one team (near unbeatable advantage if they had a tstaff monk). I'm aware of everyone saying we were bitching about that too much, but if we hadn't had the only tstaff monk on our team, it might have gone much different (though i'm honestly not sure since they didn't seem to have organized targetting at all).
If there was a 2nd tstaff monk, tune would have picked dekadenz first to lock the bards, mellow would have picked bronkus/nizzar, then tune would have picked the one left.

We maybe still could have pulled it off just because of how uncoordinated their team seemed to be. For example, I ate a sunstrike from Dekane about 30 seconds into the battle when nobody else was on me, they weren't assist targetting and we were.

But on equal footing with equal coordination our team would lose. The power in the tstaff right now in combination with bard speed is unparalleled. The ability to give a monk that kind of mobility with a 13 second stun proc is too much to deal with in most situations.

146 fire at even level should make sunstrikes bounce off you like shooting BBs at a tank.
+10 required per level lower than wizard.

I *had* to use lures on people risking their resist gear on live.

Unsuspecting non-tanks in no drop were a sunstrike + ice spear laugh fest.

I could also cast through walls all the way into Velious. Which was pretty dumb considering.. but too many walls in dungeons. The good middle ground is completed casts should finish. But .... classic must be achieved.... and another reason why I don't think tstaff was that hideous to have in game. Nice lil offset der.

if you allow the tstaff proc to proc like it does

at least lower the duration to like 5 seconds, not 12 jesus
