You what i really miss man? to see the spell particles when you cast a spell on yourself o someone cast it on you, and you are on first person view, here, for some reason, the client just doesnt draw them. In Live you could see them. Normally now I use my mouse wheel to get to 3rd person view to see them, and them back into 1st view. That sucks and its the top1 dissapointing thing from me since i came here.

My quote is explicitly referring to spell books. So, I'm going to talk some more about spell books.

In August 2000, they removed the necessity of clicking the 'meditate' button while spellbook was open, and also removed the /meditate command. Meditating still required the spellbook to be open, prior to level 35.

Pre-35 spellbook meditating was removed altogether in 2002.

Spellbook staring pre-35 is classic and is coming - I for one am looking forward to it.

For those who (say they) will quit if spellbook staring is implemented, or global OOC goes away, or the compass goes away, etc., etc., etc....maybe you should just leave already and stop talking about it.
