I love camping the bandits in west karana for the sashes (nice money at low level), also the scarecrow camp is good and the ogres have good loot. I have to say I love west karana.

Least favorite zones:

1. Kerra - never actually been there, ever.
2. Runnyeye - Too far out of the way and dangerous, tho the gnolls outside of runnyeye in SK are good xp.
3. Swamp of No Hope - What a piece of crap of a place

I agree about the Ogres, WK isn't all that bad.

I also agree about Kerra Island, useless zone on a continent to be avoided, I don't even like going to Odus to visit The Hole, why would I go to this zone?

Other two zones I feel are undesirable are:
Gorge of King Xorbb: Named evil eye and it doesn't drop a bag? Really?
Kurns Tower: Yeah I get it, it's a good zone for PLing. That's all it is though, there are more interesting mobs/drops in Crushbone. I walk into Kurns and all I walk out with is bonechips and 0 faction changed except Clan Burnai hates me more than they already did.

2) Kerra Ridge- Poorly itemized. I don't know anyone who went there on live even.
.
Levelled up my necro twink in there on live - wasn't easy as a fair amount of casters. Was quite barren most of the time.

Also did this quest with my druid just for the funz of having a fishing rod that you could hit people/things with!

emerald jungle was pointless except that dragon or to go to tt/com, did anyone ever camp anything in that whole zone? it was cool looking but wasted space really.

Also why did every town need a south/north/3rd gate shit going on? most zones were 5x the size of north kaladim or whatever why did you have to zone 4 times to hit the bank in like every noob city? i must defend dalnir though, sick dungeon, used Z axis in a creative and not annoying way, dangerous as hell but with a good group the rewards were great (for monk which I mained back in the day).

I've always wondered this. Kelethin is an entire town with guilds, merchants, a bank and 30 bars, all in one fairly large zone also containing two noobie areas, one for itself and the other for another town and the entry area to a local dungeon. There was no need for Felwithe A/B to be separate zones, among the many other cities.
I mean c'mon, the arena is 3 times the size as Felwithe B, wtf is up with that?

Man, I remember on live in classic on my server Runnyeye was the place to be. Groups would set up at the zone line to gorge and pull to there. Also, there was always groups in gorge at the runnyeye zl pulling mudmen and minotaurs.

1. Kerra Ridge
2. The Arena
3. Gorge of King Xorbb

1. Cat people with 1-2 quests.. and half of the newbies even starting there can't go there (or shouldn't be able to).. Kos to heretics iirc..

2. Seriously, there's an arena in every town.. 99.9% of the time there's nobody here.. It's a remote location with a singular purpose..

3. Crappy loots, polished bone bracelets, whirling gems(uber rare) and a slime crystal staff from an Uber rare mob.. The whole game would be better if runnyeye just backed up straight into east karana.. Oh, and the polished bone bracelets drop in EK too.. so even less reason to go here..
