Spell level gap

You remembered wrong. Classic had the same spell gaps that exist in p99.

Hmm, I don't recall getting all of my spells in one group at a certain level, but rather getting a few spells every 4 levels or so. I'm probably wrong though.

p99 is just as i remember it. maybe you remember not having enough cash to get all your spells at once, it's rough starting out.

Yeah this server is definitely correct. I dunno what the heck they did to the spell level curve in live but even my short time spent in SoL/PoP they weren't like that.

Also to my surprise I did some log checking and verified that the spell prices are right too. I could have sworn that level 8 / 9 spells didn't cost so much plat, but then again my main was a rogue :s

Your link shows multiple spells every level. Classic was spells basically every four levels, and thus so is P1999.

The spells received every 4 levels in classic were eventually spread out across every one of the 4-5 levels that encompassed that "tier" of spells. This was done post-PoP.

Bards of course, still gain songs every level.
