I got to listen in on some unnamed people who were drunk on the server last night so I know what's going on.

Basically the dev team had this idea to resurrect classic EQ and so they developed the Sux Capacitor that would allow them to travel back to 1999. It takes around 1.21 gigwatts of power which is hard to come by so they bad a deal with Libyan's to get some plutonium and now the Libyans have found out that they have been duped and are taking their revenge. The only way we can stop this is to progress through the server to 2008 at which point we can tell their in game characters in that alternate reality to never dream up p1999 in the first place and avoid the whole tragedy.

Here's an idea: Don't indulge whoever is doing this by posting threads about it. Just ignore it as much as possible. I'm sure there is nothing this person likes more than stirring the hive and watching the ensuing chaos. It goes without saying that it's annoying and it sucks and everyone wishes it would stop. Do your part to make that happen by not giving the dude exactly what he wants.
