Who cares? EQ pvp is entirely too unbalanced/unfair to care about this shit. Very few, if any, classes don't depend entirely on gear during PVP contests.

Not true. When fighting 1v1 against your same class a melee (monk, paladin, ranger, bard, sk, war, etc..) the main factor is jousting ability. If you'll note in my screenshot against kinvaras - that was the largest gear gap I've encountered, however it was by far the easiest fight. He was arguably the best geared ranger in the game (township rebellion) vs someone with no gear who had just transferred to the server from red. If you can hit them 3 times for every once they hit you, you've just closed the gear gap in most circumstances.

Great Jousting still only means so much.. I dueled Eabon in KC and got him to 30% or so and he has 3x better gear than me and he was using VP 2hb and I was using truncheon of doom. I'm not mad, he's a cool guy, but gear does play a huge factor.....

When you say that, I don't think you know what "Great Jousting" is.
I dueled you in EC and you weren't able to stay on me around EC tunnel entrance, that's not the kind of amateurish play I'm talking about.

Here is some data from two fights vs. someone who massively outgeared me. You can see he has a higher accuracy, minimum damage, maximum damage, and average damage. You can also assume he had more mana, HP, and AC. These are all by virtue of his (Regis/Slantyr's) gear. However, you can also see that the amount of hits I landed vs. the amount of hits he landed on me, which is why I come ahead in total damage done and hence win the duels. Skill is everything.

This might be hard to understand, but since none of the 3 names on those pie charts and graphs was "Bouncerr", they weren't about my blue server EC tunnel duel. Another thing you might have noticed if your wit wasn't so dim, no one hits for 1479 or does 86k total damage in a duel in the Kunark era.

So, now that everyone knows you're mentally retarded, maybe you should go the fuck outside.
