From what I gathered, he wasn't opening it, but letting someone he converses with regularly know it was going to occur, based off of his contacts/knowledge working in SOE currently on Vanguard.

Having said that, the e-mail looks less than credible, but who knows.

i think the most important thing here is there are other eq classic servers in the works besides yeahlights. it brings hope that the classic eq community isnt dead yet.

Classic EQ Community confirmed thriving, even if our beloved Red server is full of trolls and angsty's. Be bitter all ye like, but the Blue community has & is going strong. And is full of more desirable players. As noted by Sir Ken's recent post.

Red's could learn a thing or two.

Blue has far more undesirables. I'm sure you only intended to secure your spot up a gm's ass with that comment but you should go read a few threads talking about raiding, or need before greed, or any other long post by the blue server. They have more bad apples because they have more apples.
