There are only two dispels that are unresistable:

Cancel Magic
Taper Enchantment

Every other one is MR based, has nothing to do with being beneficial or not.

The Nullify Magic line of spells can currently be resisted when self targeted. This wasn't something that was possible on live

I played on Rallos Zek --> Zek for 7 years where you have to dispel yourself seven thousand times per day, Never once did a self cast dispel fail.
