New player looking for advice/guide

Hi, I'm new to this game. I made a Halfling cleric and have been reading guides on stats, leveling and equipment. Wiki (www.wiki.project1999.org) is a great site with lots of helpful advice. Honestly the best advice I can give you is to join a guild. All the answers you need can be found in "/gu (insert question here)."

EQ is really not based on quests like other MMORPGs, so there are not necessarily those you must do... they are all pretty optional.

Starting out fresh I would say kill lots of stuff, group often, and save plat... you will find that plat (money) buys pretty much everything you want in this game. That being said, Cleric's are a super fun class, but not typically very good at making money so be prepared to be broke. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
