The real problem is someone who is totally against (very vocal!) classic mechanics is on the staff.

it does not matter what hes against. hes not a GM. THE ACTUAL staff feels the current resist system is better because it keeps all classes viable in PvP. and THAT is the only reason resists are the way they are. Rogean and Nilbog have final say on all features. they dont just get added because some random guy thinks it will be a swell idea.
