![]() I have two cents, and I will now give you them:
Why can't people just leave eachother alone? All of this crap is just incredibly stupid. People who rage about drops. Stupid. People who KS. Stupid. People who train. Stupid. People just need to stop being stupid, work together and take it in turns. Co-existence is far more fun than ranting and raving all over the place because people can't get along. If people take stuff seriously, that's fine, and people don't need to train them for it. People who are doing things *Cough*OP*Cough* for no other reason than to be disruptive need to get a grip. People are here to have fun, and that's what they should be allowed to do. You void that right if you are doing things to activley interfere and ruin the fun of others. A fitting definition: A griefer is a player who plays a multiplayer video game to irritate and harass other players, rather than in pursuit of game objectives. I'm not going to go into the psychology angle. I'm not going to tell you to grow up. You get your rage and whining that fuels you so, because of your anonymity. There'll always be some insecure people who'll give you what you want from your silliness, but all in all, those of us who take things seriosuly, respect the feelings of others, and remembery while we're here will just look down on you. We'll pity you, because while we have fun, you have to resort to the disruption of others in order to enjoy yourself. You don't appear to enjoy the company of others, you don't enjoy the game you play, you derive your entertainment from the dissent and unhappiness of others. So, to put it simply, Dark Ascension will be there, they'll regroup, they'll carry on. You'll be wasting your time in what surmounts to an utterly futile act. Now. This isn't specifically about the OP (Abacab), this is simply a statement out to every single player, being that those who work together accomplish so much more than those who oppose eachother for trivial reasons. I just wish that some of the people would get their collective heads out of the ground and start working for a common purpose instead of ranting and raving and holding some kind of Everquest Cold War over every little disruption and dispute. The will to live is considered to be a very basic drive in man; however, it is not necessarily thought to be the main driving force. Out of Vienna come three schools of psychotherapy: Sigmund Freud's first school involves what has been termed the pleasure principle, or the will to pleasure; Alfred Adler broke away from Freud to create his second school of individual psychology, or the will to power, which is based in Nietzche's work; Victor Frankl, after spending time in a German concentration camp, developed his third school of Viennese psychotherapy called logotherapy, or the will to meaning. Before all this, as can be seen by studies in fields like zoology and ethology, and also in Schopenhauer's work, there is the very basic and powerful will to live.
