It's PVP.
World PVP means there is no battlegrounds so in order to get honor, you have to go look for someone to fight. It's less convenient, but much more fun. currently the highest lvl on the server is 25. the next highest is 21. most people are 10-15. That's more than 24 hours after launch, which is kinda impressive and shows WoW used to be fairly difficult to lvl. It's true to the original.
Come check it out guys.
My name is Token on the server. PM me and I'll help you out (with what I can).

Also, a list of addons available on the server which is patch 1.12

well to bad, still hoping for PvE wow classic [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I would even consider running my own wow server, if I knew where to get the ready to use wow emulator software that could be run without C++ coding skill requirements.
unfortunately, it seems that wow emus do not have centralized hub for user friendly emu development like EQ does.

PVE alone is so boring in wow though, especially before battlegrounds.
You need a good gank or teamfight occasionally to break things up.
It helps with immersion too.

Wait there's no battlegrounds? The WoW pvp server I played on still had battlegrounds. One does not preclude the other. Battlegrounds are a lot of fun, and I never got to experience a proper epic Alterac Valley BG that took hours and included everything the zone has to offer (don't know when AV was added).

World pvp is fun and to me preferable to a pve server, but not at the expense of battlegrounds. I need both.

I wish they would never introduce battlegrounds. They turned pvp into a repetitive, instanced, pve like grind that had no meaning. All of my fun pvp memories were before bg's when people battled in Hillsbrad and pvp would effect areas of the game and people and you know, the game felt more like a giant mmo world.

While I hate the Arena, I did enjoy the BGs to come extent. The first time I did AV i was like D= Cooperating pve (side quests to upgrade buffs and summon monsters mid field) with mass pvp with objectives (taking bunkers) ending in you fighting the opposing commander was awesome. I remember AV matches going for days because it was just constant back and forth action. Damn AV was so much fun the first few times. I hear now its just a race to the commander in which both teams bypass each other in order to end it ASAP. RIP Epic AV
