Ive only been in DA for bout 2 weeks now. So I really cant argue either side, but I can argue for the 2 weeks Ive been there. I havnt seen anything out of either side other than...camping. The thing I can argue is while leveling and grinding I read more shit about IB via global and the boards. Never anything about DA untill this thread. So I think the server speaks for this arguement and is why I decided to join DA.

As for maturity. Anyone with past gaming experience know that posting on the boards and especially the rants and flames section are completely different than game actions 90% of the time. Its rants and flames its meant to get out of hand and turn into a pissing contest.

Discuss things with me in game, ill be more than happy to have a legitimate discussion and hear both sides maturly. But in rants in flames, Im gonna have my fun.

DA wasnt around long enough to honestly compare to IB as far as flaming and word of mouth went. Fish Bait is the guild youd be looking for there.

I'm in guild A and think all of guild B likes to fill their time using exploits and tactics they stole from us while having a cyber circle jerk and listening to n sync in their fat mother's double wide. I don't know who you are because I honestly don't scour the forums 24/7. If I see a thread I find interesting or is in some manner related to me, I'll keep an eye on it; but I don't read the vast majority of the threads here. So sorry I don't know your super secret identity. That being said, I don't understand why people post under anon accounts. I have very little respect for people who are unwilling to stand behind what they say.

As far as DA training you, again you bring up these random generalizations. Please give me names and examples of when a monk from DA trained you. Until recently, the only monks in DA were Bronson and myself, and I know for a fact I have never trained another guild intentionally. This is one of those isntances where if I knew who you were and what guild you were a part of I'm confident that I either debunk or at least explain any of this "mob dropping/training" that our evil monks have done to you.

Jilena I think the prime difference is that IB tries to do it within the rules and fairly. DA/FB, in my experience, will employ any tactic to win including lying, training, leapfrogging, and attempting to KS.

Since I've been a member of IB, there has been one instance I feel we made the wrong choice and that involved Maestro and Remedy. To this day I regret that we didn't communicate our intentions regardless of our reasons for doing so which were misdirected at best.

On the other hand, I can't count the times I've seen DA/FB as a whole and as individuals purposely mislead players and GMs alike, train raids and groups, and blatantly try to leapfrog multiple guilds.

While you're right that there isn't a "good guy" in this race, the attitudes and demeanor of many DA/FB posters on these forums speak volumes for the truly massive gap between us in terms of maturity.

As you said, the horror stories of IB destroying this server come almost 100% from the mouth of DA/FB members. Again, I'm not pretending we haven't had our dark moments, but surely you recognize a difference in attitude and demeanor between the two parties

Well I wouldn't say it's just DA/FB who have hate for IB even though recently they seem to comprise the vocal majority of it. I have seen nasty comments directed you guys way by several members of other guilds as well as individual players who have had little to no interraction with you guys on a regular basis. I will agree that a good part of this could probably just be envy as you guys have been on top for a good while. I would guess though that some of it is also from people who have had a bad experience with you guys even if it's just you taking the raid target they wanted *shrug*

I have had a few "nuke first and sort it out later" experiences with IB members involving farming loot, but I have not had one where the sorting out part wasn't handled well. I have also seen IB members being somewhat rude while PLing in dungeons. Of course on the flip side in similar experiences with DA members they flat out lied to me about what they "saw" me doing and called me a liar for claiming rights to the camp I had been holding before they got there. *shrug*

In all honesty in my direct personal experience the IB members I have interracted with as a whole have been nicer, more considerate, and more helpful than anyone I have encountered in any other guild on this server. That said I have been in a serious business raiding guild before and you don't get to the top by being sweet and nice and innocent. The take what you want and fuck everyone else attitude is pretty much a requirement to remain in that position. So I will find it extremely hard to believe that IB has never exploited, KSed, leapfrogged, trained, etc when it was to their advantage and they thought they could get away with it.

BUTTTT.... To deny that DA is even more likely to do these things is ridiculous. Every single officer from every single guild (obv not counting IB) that raids that I have spoken with has claimed direct experience with DA people being douchebags doing everything from training, leapfrogging, etc to purposely porting members of their guild out of the zone and laughing about it afterward. No one has any reason to make ALL of this shit up. You guys haven't been around long enough to generate the kind of hate you receive through envy. One of the funniest things I have ever seen on here was some noob in NFP asking Daverick "Hey aren't you that guy everyone hates for training and KSing and being an asshole?! How did you get in a big guild like DA?!" Those of you new to the guild may have no experience with this as I think the value of this sort of asshattery has diminished a good deal now that you can just sit for days to win. *shrug*

One last thing. Whatever shit is talked about Raren in this thread, he is easily one of the nicer people I have met on this server and has always acted honorably even in situations where he could have easily have "stolen" an FBSS from me without breaking a single rule. Whether or not he is a skilled player I don't know I haven't really grouped with him, whether or not he has misplaced hate for IB because of his supposed rejection, again I don't know. Him being an asshole however has never been my experience.

Why do people keep referring FB to DA?
FB is about less than 30% of what DA is today. We didn't start reaching the flames for our success until a few weeks ago. So to clarify, DA is a different guild and should not be compared to FB. Live in the now.
