Please allow me to introduce you to an under-used command ... /ignore
I don't see the spam because if people are abusing the global OOC i immediately put them on /ignore.... if they are talking shit to each other, i politely ask the parties in question to take it to tells, if they do not... they get placed on /ignore... People, it is as simple as this... don't like what you see? /ignore it! The thing I love about EQ vs all other is that in this game your reputation actually impacts you... You think spam is bad here, try playing wow and watching the "trade" channel for any actual trading going on... In the end, for the ones who want to act like children, if we all /ignore them, very soon they will only be "impressing" themselves in their own little world where no one acknowledges them and/or entertaining the other kiddies who are /ignored with them... Morale of the story: Be careful how you act in public forums, it may impact your chance to enjoy playing this game. Please utilize your power to filter out the rude and adolescent players. (/ignore) Rinse and repeat.... Bye-Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ..!
