The raid scene here is pretty messed up from what I can tell. Unless you are in the top guild (TMO) it does't seem like there is a chance of getting a good spawn. They take it very seriously and its sorta become a flame-fest between TMO and other guilds, which is pretty annoying to see.
So I'd say, if you really want to raid, just get to 60 and join TMO. They will get you the gear/content/pixels that you desire. Oh and there are a TON of druids, monks, magicians. Especially druids and monks.
