Random Crashes (maybe graphics related)

Ever since I started playing this game I randomly crash. Sometimes after I zone but its mostly a random crash. It might be graphics/graphics card related.

basically when I play the game my monitor randomly goes crazy. colors all over. My mouse becomes a pixelated (sp) square. It's like a bad timothy leary style acid trip. If i dont hit the restart button the game freezes and the monitor goes blue. Sometimes the comp even freezes and restarts itself!

I also can't control+alt out of full screen or the game freezes. the problems just keep going from there. If i play in windowed mode I can't search the net or even touch outside of the game or it freezes.

I also get this error when I change my resolution to the highest setting in EQ's options: "the instruction at 0x02b3lc6b referenced memory at 0x00000018. the memory could not be read.

but yeah besides that this game is great. The crashes are super random!
hope someone can help! so hard to navigate these zones w/o maps!

what OS? sounds like graphic card related issue like you need updated drivers

i'm pretty sure i have the newest driver. I use a geforce 9600 gt and run on windows 7.
