In-game class/race/gender etc can reflect the person in real life. It does happen. Usually subconsciously.

Race and Sex isn't the same as class type.

Cosmetics often reflect a person's characteristics of themselves (or what they want themselves to be) as it doesn't affect the way they play, but how people perceive them.

Class systems have a direct impact on how a person plays the game, making it more of a decision to how they want to play and have fun, not how other people perceive them.
