Anyone help me get ready for Velious???

Dang man, 40 in 4 days? That seems crazy to me right now lol. I don't have a ton of playing time between work and my wife/baby... Weekends are usually my most productive times but even then its hit or miss... Thanks for your suggestions/help. Hows Red server been?

I just got started too, and I am sad I missed out on Lguk days and breaking into Fear on guild firsts. But it's still fun. I am trying to get up there in levels as well for the release of Velious. Would like to get higher than 20 and some gear, but it will come. I am certainly going to enjoy leveling my character because to me that is the single best part of the game. Going through the hard ships and leveling your character with limited means makes you appreciate him more.

I know that sounds corny but it really is true. I could never sell one of my EQ toons or give them away because I get too attached to them. A lot of time spent leveling and grinding and hunting for items. Far too much to put a silly price tag that isn't nearly enough on it.

I certainly don't think if you guys take your time and don't rush that you will miss out on anything.

The recent increase in new players has brought about some newly formed guilds that have just started to do their first couple of fear raids. I wouldn't worry that you have missed out on break-ins. I'm sure they will still be happening on this server when you have leveled up some.

There are a few things I missed out on in EQ the first time around. Like wearing a Crimson Robe of Alendine. I wanted one of those so badly. Never really got the chance, we did a couple of fear runs but by the time I got high enough in the pecking order we had moved on to bigger and better things. Just hoping I can get there while there is still some interest in doing them.

I am really enjoying this though. Even if I miss out on some things again this experience is bringing back so many memories from so long ago that I never thought I would be able to recapture.
