People always tell me I'm crazy, but the blue server seemed a LOT more stable before R99 came up, as I remember it anyway.

Was also more people playing on blue at the time.

Obviously they get enough via donations and ad revenue to probably make this a positive gain "business", or I think it would have been killed long ago.

This is a pretty inane statement. Plenty of people run stuff like this without making money because they have other enjoyment they receive from it. My bet is it's probably close to break-even or maybe a tiny bit more - but nothing even close to a real business.

Because as soon as they take R99 down, the Vz-Tz dudes will start screaming about how "if there was only another stable box, then everyone would play and it would dwarf blue 99 and it would be awesome" or some other nonsense.

R99 basically proves that no, not that many people are interested in EQ PvP, and for good reason. As long as it stands, they shut their stupid mouths and don't run around ruining our forums like they did a short time after the last VZTZ collapsed.

I remember when I would read the forums and every thread would some how get derailed to how popular a red 99 server would be if there was one, and how every post or question would get related to "how it was on RZ brah".
