Now all you guys need is an iksar monk, dwarf paladin, and a ranger, and you'll lose experience with every kill!

Welcome to the server! Ignore the forums as much as possible, and enjoy the game!
Heh, these forums brought back so many fond memories for me. Especially the PvP board, since it reminded me so much of the atmosphere that existed on the Tallon Zek Server on EQLive. I would have loved to have rolled on the R99 server, but I'm afraid I can't deal with all the drama and the low population on top of that at this point in my life. Maybe in the future I can start a character there or something, but for now I'm satisfied playing as a bluebie.

I have to say that I was somewhat overconfident when making the decision to play an Ogre SK, but I will stick with it regardless of the fact that my experience bar is moving as slow as an old turtle. Haven't touched EQ in ~7-8 years now and I forgot what a pain it was to level, but hopefully if I keep a steady grinding pace and toss in a lot of questing/tradeskilling I'll keep sane.

Default Heyas

So I been playing for a while now, have 4 chars, couple noobs and my main Eloian. Thought I should finally say hi while waiting for patch to finish. Met lotsa nice folks. Haven't really grouped much, just enjoy soloing mostly. I'm sure grouping bug will bite eventually. Played on Bristlebane with ranger of same name. Love p99 so much. It's exactly want I wanted for so long. Anyways, See yas around.

On my lunch hour I was tooling around west Freeport and the commonlands and ran into another level 4 player. In passing we found that we were both new players on the server!

It's not the end game that I'm here for, but rather the journey and people along the way.
I just started here the other day too! Love the idea of going completely back to the beginning, no expansions or anything. Great idea.

Like you I'm really not here for the end game either, I rather enjoy grouping and running from trains (and causing a few of our own). lol Good times.
