Its the general forum because r99 is still by far the best, most classic, most stable EQ pvp emu that exists, and it has the most potential and highest likelihood to once again be successful.

Anything that happens elsewhere just won't give you that warm feeling as long as r99 exists, so everyone knows why you cry burn it down.

If you win anywhere else, it will be like the champions of the japanese world series boasting themselves as the "best in the world." Actually a closer analogy would be like getting the gold in the special olympics while the real winners are in the actual olympics. There will always be that legit server (r99) where players were better, smarter, more organized, and more successful in every aspect of Everquest than your starting line up in the minors (other shitboxes).
