He thinks they're all 'libruls' and can't possibly fathom that the free exchange of information in adherence to constitutional, god-given, or natural rights might actually be a conservative ideology. Alternatively, there might be capitalists who like using auction to hawk their wares. That sounds pretty conservative to me.
