"Slam" is never connecting? Bug?

My barb shaman has the ability to Slam with a equip'd shield. I have the shield equip'd, and have hit SLAM every fight from level 2 through level 7 now. I have never seen it connect once. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] It ALWAYS misses. Is this a known bug, am I missing something, or doing something wrong?

Large races do not need a shield to slam, you can use slam without a shield.

It has a very low chance to connect, but it should be connecting. I have a low level large race and it's rare but my slam does connect, not sure about barb being special with that [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.].

My level 13 ogre shaman has not connected on a single slam since the last patch. He would routinely hit a few timers per fight, but now, nothing. The animation is still there, but that is it.

So it's not just me then. I saw in patch notes that they reduced the amount of success for it...but this seems a tad over kill.

Any one else having similar issues?

well i have a barb warrior. Kogin of course. and he uses a bash instead

I have noticed this too. Slam used to connect somewhat frequently but I don't think I've connected on a single slam since the patch.

Ha I thought it was just me so I didn't post anything. But I don't believe my Ogre has landed a single slam after patch. I know in 1 evening of me paying extra attention not 1 landed.
