The reactions from the hangers-on and GM's alike are comical. The player base did not, and does not have anything to do with this servers outcome. Put out something worth while, people will play. If that is too hard a task, at least be transparent with the community. Here we are 6 months in and quite honestly there is still zero direction with this server.

The population rarely breaches triple digits anymore and meaningful PVP is non-existent. The server is in a constant state of recycled players. You get some new people, they level up a bit, realize the server is bunk, quit, some random new ones take their place. Like Grimtoad said, notice you don't see very many of the original people around anymore. Holocaust maybe has 3-5 players still playing that started out as Holocaust. Terrible. Nihilum is almost as bad. The good players in Nihilum that started the rivalry and competition barely play. Hughman, Nerfed, Jerrin, Silver, Lovely, Nacho, Fallen, Beovvulf, etc. Look at Founding Fathers - they lost some players. Tallon Zek Times entire guild quit. Scary Bad Guys, while small, are always a staple in PVP communities. All quit. Turnover is rampant all across the community and the only collective "person" to point a logical finger at is staff. Pretty soon the recycled players won't be enough to keep pace with the droves that are quitting. 90 becomes 80. 80 becomes 70. Sooner or later, if this server continues down the same path, that "plug" needs to be pulled. Harsh reality.
