This entire thread has turned into a bitch fest all because... <insert random p99 player000> "MY OPINIONS ARE MORE SUPREME THAN YOURS".
How difficult is it to enjoy the simple fact there is now a few targets a week that the casual player base can compete against each other with a fighting chance at dragon/god loot? Stop acting as if you're satisfied outfitting every character with only planar loot and it's your end goal at this "12 year old non-difficult game".

What actual in-game actions have I done to warrant any hate? I've actually gone on record to move on and let bygones be bygones if TMO wanted to do the right thing and move on from this hate-fest: Quote:

Like the last server repop. With all of the targets up we had to race and mobilize. TMO got 14 of the 16 major targets. A server repop is the only good way I can think of to judge a guilds' mobilization ability. Its definitely not a skill but it is the combined ability of a guild as an entity to move around quickly. Sometimes random spawns force you to mobilize too. Last month (or late Feb) Talendor spawned. 1 Tracker from TMO was in zone, 1 from TR. Within 3-4 mins we had 35 TMO in zone when there was a combined 3 TR/VD.

Let me be clear on one thing: I'm supercompetitive. When I play basketball or chess or whatever, I play to win. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. But EQ as a game is simply not designed for people to race for mobs. Real competitive EQ in my opinion is killing mobs with fewer numbers than the other guy. Which is actually the part that I enjoy, and I go out of my way to try and do this even when the loot isn't there. I spent like 3 hours trying to trio Korocust once. I still have to go back and try and finish that one.

Some excellent points made all around.
I agree whole heatedly that there is fun to be had during FTE races. Pre Kunark I loved zoning in to Fear to race for CT... trying to gauge how many mobs still needed to be killed before you could successfully engage etc, that was fun. A few months ago racing for Inny could still sort of be fun. Hell I still have fun mobilizing for Naggy/Vox just because they require some path clearing first... creates a more "epic" feel if you will. However, those at the upper echelons of P99dom have pushed the envelope of the mantra "work smarter not harder." So now instead of having two guilds race from the zone in we have eye pulls, we have people who will place their pet on spawn points etc. This is indeed a smarter approach and I commend those players for guaranteeing their guild's kill & loot. However, for me that breaks the game and takes the fun out of raiding. Pet's on Trak's spawn point? Ridiculous. FTE races used to be 5k races, now they are a 100m sprints.

Metallikus - I dislike you because you're retarded, not because you speak out (retardedly) against my guild.
