And as said many times before, it actually is a way shittier spot to fight VP dragons at. Bite us.

P.S: I was not in the navy
P.P.S: I'm french and I only talk gently to Amelinda...

If we thought we were exploiting do you really think we'd have posted pictures of us doing so on the front page of our site?

I mean, we only posted six screenshots of where we were fighting at. That's obviously what someone who thought they were exploiting would do... right?

I found that spot, it was gotten to legitimately- and it could have been gotten to legitimately on live. At no point did I ever think it was an "exploit", but I would say it was pretty fucking clever.

It's blatantly obvious from a complete and utter noob's perspective (albeit a drunk one's, so go easy on me [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]) - you guys are riding the fucking line
And you're basing this on what, a screenshot and the ramblings of a fat forum troll who doesn't even play here? Have you ever been in VP before?

I was in the Navy too !..... So STFU Shippie!
We don't set aside rules. We were one of the only guilds to boot our cheaters at hackfest 2011. Where we were pulling to was a perfectly legitimate pull spot accessible by grav flux. Pulling to where we were did nothing to exploit or trivialize any encounter in VP and in some cases made them harder.

As it has been proven in the past we won't do everything to stay on top. Cheating isn't fun for us. The only thing we are guilty of is finding a kick ass pull spot that server admins didn't like.

The only reason we even used that spot which is honestly a PITA to get to is to hide from VD's memblur exploit team. A guild who rather grief a raid than bring their own force to VP.

We must be doing something right to tarnish our image so badly that we have record levels up apps with no sign of slowing.

But I am glad Harrison has one supporter some drunk ex flight jock who never got out of his T-45
Nice post man, you should be TMO's rep on the boards!

I feel like I can take you at your word and your explanation to the problem has me rethinking your stance on the situation.

I kinda wish Amelinda approached you guys about the situation before creating another rule. As you know from the Navy, best way to deal with a SNAFU is to approach it head on first. Perhaps the outcome could have been better for all.

To the guy above this post: No, I have never been there. I played EQ for like two years back in 99, and am just returning, maybe one day... The crux of my post was the fact that I AM a noob, and AM new to the server (i.e. neutral). All I was saying is that from a neutral standpoint, you guys weren't coming across as a professional group of peeps, and that really should be your goal, both on the server and on the forums - at least one hopes.

But Alarti0001 has got me singing a different tune for the moment. Although a little rough around the edges, the T-45 was a sweet jet :P

P.S. What'd you do, man?

This is RnF, it's not like we're necessarily trying to look good in there. But it's also inevitably the place where the Guild vs Guild issues are brought up. Neutrals usually don't have all the informations required. Don't let the flaming fool you, we can also be chill and rationnal. Rarely on this side of the forums, gotta admit it.

I'd just like to know what's trivializing the encounter that Amelinda claimed. I'm not even in TMO, and 99% sure I know what pull method they're using, that does indeed make it so they could anything single without any adds, and it has nothing to do with pulling a mob to a funky spot or it pathing through walls. Is it the same method for how you pull King camp in Sebilis?

If fighting up there makes it so...I dunno the AE doesn't go off or something, then I could see that. But otherwise, just curious of what's exactly is being exploited.

Again - I'm not even in TMO. Just not seeing the exploit.
