I get RMT it's wrong w/e, but the argument that it puts the server in danger to me is like saying if you speed while murdering someone you're more likely to go to jail. This entire server is illegal, more illegal problems, problems which by the way apparently have been ongoing since the start of p99, seem unlikely to make the server any more in jeopardy of being shut down.

gms way to involved in shit. no offense amelinda but I can smell the rage as you post crap about not insulting staff and yada yada. as a person, its great you volunteer your time to this project but as a gm for the red server you kinda suck. you are way to involved with the players, your rules are not fair and impartial, and tbh you lack the thick skin to run a server populated by assholes like myself. we need a gm who we fuckin fear. your posts make you sound like a train wreck sometimes and I hope that doesnt hurt your feelings.

tl dr get a level headed respectable pvp vet to run this server.

RMTers can go to hell, its bad enough that they infest live games and fuck up economies on a consistent basis, but to have them here in a emulator run by volunteers is beyond wrong. I used to be in the pro RMT camp, a very long time ago, but once you have played a few games completely ruined by bots and rmt you will see why its bad.

Also Amelinda is correct, no one can profit off of a EQ emulator, its risky enough just operating one. Adding further risk by RMTing just adds to the potential for a SOE cease and desist and then bye bye server and bye bye items you spent RL money on. Doh
