I have to agree with the fact that this IB guild and possibly others appear to have such a hardcore gaming mentality that it's ruined my and a friends prospects of playing through all the classic content again. I'm sure there are more.

What's the point of even trying to level when these no job losers are all just going to barrel through and camp content 24/7?

I mean my chances of experiencing all the content at my leisure now seems to be ruined by the "OMGZ PHAT LEWTZ HEHEHHOH I BEAT YEWZ" pissing contest that's going on with all these players that actually have 10+ hours to spend per day on an EQ emu server so they can wave their virtual lootz as they enjoy a merry little circle jerk.


Killing a raid mob every now and then? Great fun. Having every raid mob camped by the same bunch of no life losers 24/7 which results in blocking others from enjoying that content? Pathetic!

EQ was all about the people who showed dedication. The people who did camp things for hours on end.

Now what your opinion might be of someone who spends hours of their lives per day on a computer game is none of my business, but to whinge about it because you want the mobs they're camping etc. just comes across as sour grapes to me.

If you want to raid old world content and be uncontested, then possibly a private server for you and your friends might be what you want?

Raiding in EQ was always about the hardcore. Top guilds fight viciously for content, and until a newer expansion comes out, chances are they'll be taking pretty much all of it.

Competition for spawns isn't a goddamn business, this is a freaking emulated computer game with virtual loot, like it was 10 years ago.

I was in that position back in the days and i still dont understand why. I've had more constructive fights over who got to push the bus stop sign when i was like 6 years old.

There are other options besides IB, and IB does not get all the spawns. They do get a lot of spawns right right now, but with every day, other guilds adapt more. I know it sounds frustrating to read everything y'all do about the end game on this server, but IB doesn't have the grasp on the server that it did at one time in the past, so just wait it out, man. There is more competition right now than some people give credit for.
