Think about it like this, Ard:

Staff of battle + fbss = 31/30

IFS + tbb = 38/40 + 8 ac + 15 str

Peacebringer + tbb = 28/30 + 8 ac + 15 str


You'll want an fbss eventually, but for right now it doesn't look like it is any better than going with either the ifs or the peacebringer.
