You guys may cheat, exploit, and suck at Everquest but man are you helpful in my thread. Thank you so much for the help in bringing awareness to the issue of exploiters not being punished properly and requiring harsher sentences.

None of the options really match my thoughts.

Red - Cheating through warps, MQ, etc - permanent ban
Cheating through MySEQ/SEQ - suspension

Blue - Cheating that affects raid bosses - permanent ban
Anything else - no punishment

If you wanted a serious poll, you would remove the harrison reference. Its a yes or no question. I think they should just delete character involved with the exploits, though Perma bann works too imo. If you exploit on Everquest LIVE, im sure you will get your shit pushed in real fast by the SOE ban-hammer.

In classic EQ, I managed to figure out a way to get underneath the world via levitate in nearly every zone. With spells not needing a los component, I managed to get a nuke team, underneath the world, to Neriak bank. While you couldn't target someone while underneath the world, you could assist a lvl 1 dark elf.... And that's how my high elf wizard ended up with a SMR.

Did the EQ gms ever ban me/suspsend me for doing this? No. The worst thing that happened is a guide told me to stop exploiting geometry for a free transport the safe point in zone.

Which gets me to my point: On live, GMs didn't really give a shit about third tier low pop server 'sploits. Any enforcement efforts greater than zero, is more than what was shown on live.
