Spam in /ooc and /auction

Need to find a solution on this. It is quite annoying and to me it removes part of the joy of this game.

I have seen the patch notes, but it simply isn't enough. Auction channel is getting power spammed. Not really a problem in ooc anymore.

Auction has been getting raped for days and having to /ignore asshole every 5 minutes gets old after about the 3rd time...

But the patch notes say that the fix is for Auction also...

The solution has to be to the benefit of the server. Preventing the spammer from doing his spammy thing, whilst maintaining ooc's availability to those who truly need to use it. We don't want to cut off our noses to spite our face [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
