IMO let pets hold hate.

Don't solo pet classes get shafted enough with the pet exp penalty lol. At least let them take a few swings with their weapon while they are soloing so its not so boring >_>.

If it becomes some huge issue with like 50 pet classes taking down raid targets (which i doubt) can be adjusted lol.

Pet aggro is definitely broken....

No way if you solo can you do more than 50% of pet damage and NOT be tanking the creature yourself the whole time. Necros are the only pet class that have an "out", as they can still fear kite.

Mages have to do the "pet go away" method of summoning a pet, letting it tank the creature til pet at 20 percent....summon new pet...send it....let it continue to tank creature til dead or summon yet another..etc..etc..etc....

Pets were always able to hold aggro well enough while soloing to not have to do something so ridiculous while leveling. It doesn't have to be awesome aggro...just enough so that if you nuke/dot for 51% of the damage over the course of the fight on an even con creature (not zerg nuke, but spaced out over say a 30-60 second period) you shouldn't pull it off.

As it stand now...you send pet....and do nothing else, or have to wait until the pet has the creature to 60% before you do anything...at which time you will NEVER beat the pet on damage for full xp...even if you are trying hard to.
