And at the current price all the people who can afford one are probably farming and selling them. There's not much a market at 100k for new buyers.

Its pretty interesting seeing the attitude of the people farming and selling these as supply keeps increasing and demand is drying up. At some point the price is going to go down a fair amount and the desire to farm it is going to evaporate as well. Where the static price ends up is unknown, but I bet like 50-60k in 6 months, which is still higher than on Live at the end of Kunark, due to the amount of plat floating around and the higher twinkage rate here.

I agree that the price will drop to the 60-70k range in months to come, but coming from a tunnel rat like myself I do not see the demand "drying up" one bit. In fact, if you look at the WTB vs. WTS threads on the forums it is kinda obvious. This is a must have, or people see it that way, for most twinks and with the amount of people getting bored with endgame and creating monk/rogue/shaman twinks I really don't see the value dropping, as stated above, somewhere around the release of velious.

Edit: And even months down the road the 60-70k is kinda wishful thinking with the ridiculous amount of platinum that has been hoarded on this server.
