That's because your guild was created for the purpose of avoiding PvP to begin with.

Nihilum was formed by all the 16+ hr a day no lifers (literally every one on the server) who sacrificed a good night's rest and hygiene to outlevel the crowd so they could PvE without fear of attacks from rivals; if they all joined up, they would have no rivals at all until the server caught up, and the server becomes blue to them. Lovely doesn't log in anymore because all the enemies he made while acting like a fool are now his level, and his fragile ego couldn't handle being PKed.

Nihilum's answer to being destroyed in PvP and seeing Holocaust almost kill Nagafen with 21 people was the only thing they could do: mass recruit to the point red99 becomes Holocaust vs. the rest of the server. There are plenty of people on this server that just want to camp loot, and they all join Nihilum to avoid PvP.

I'm having so much fun on red :P I dunno what people's complaint is.

I left playing on blue to come here for an obvious reason.

Now, since I've been gone exploring mountains for 3 days.. I've had some time to think.

All the people who are serious EQ PvPers have / should have what they want here. I say EQ PvPers and not PvPers by itself for a reason. Part of EQ is the social aspect. If leveling is "just a grind" for you, well, I'm sorry you don't have a fun group to play with. And in that case, you've failed in the social aspect of EQ. I say EQ before PvP also because the real EQ'rs I've recognized here aren't crying about things like XP, hybrid penalties or drop rates. The EQ PvPers have a server where there isn't game breaking Velious raid gear and plenty of people to kill. You don't get your "zomg WoW BG kill people every 2 seconds", so have fun coming from that platform and saying "there's no one to kill".

Nihilum does get what they want, the dragonz. They came here from blue where they had no way of forcing another group of of a spawn and had to result to things like arm-chair rule interpreting, staff trolling and all kinds of first to engage tactics like stacking eye of zomms, divine idol training, etc.

Now, given the choice of the two? I'm taking the red PvP route, but if you want to join a large guild that gets its dragon every week? Go join Nihilum. Now, that being said, some of them know PvP mechanics like Hughman and Arzak. Many of them however, I'm sure have blue plat traded / RMT'd gear and gotten PL'd up and will run face first into a wall and train themselves if you nuke them or make a petition if you kill them while engaged to mobs.

For people who aren't EQ pussies, this server offers great entertainment value (FOR FREE).

There's some non-Wizards in my guild that I'd have an impossible time fighting and scenario specific for some of them.

So I wouldn't say Wizard is a free win ticket. I see Wizards getting chewed up and spit out here and there by other classes. I've certainly been whirl cheesed by enchanters which I think is more ez-mode.

The argument there I could make is "Enchanters are the most ezmode class", I could certainly whirl someone over and over with a charmed mob on them or just straight nuke them. Then there's enchanters like Letsjoe who I'm not sure I'd fuck with on a good day. There's enchanters I'd attack with no hesitation because they're lawl dumb and I have magic resist now.

who the fuck is going to do this sick grind just to pvp and have fun > ? very very few poeple , and when i logged in today there was 33 people on the server

but thanks for going to play star wars rogean , really shit on the box you making it and abandoning it , you should have participated in beta , got it up before star wars before epics and veeshans peak and had a real launch , it might have been fun
