How is pissing off a bunch of $40K a year traffic cops = winning?

They're the 99%. Just like the truckers and the dock workers. You're pissing off a bunch of people you're ostensibly fighting for, while the 1% you're after don't even know or care about what you're doing.
I really don't like the rhetorical 99%/1% gimmick, it bespeaks division and I'm against that. I feel that we are all the 100%, but that certain of us need to be put in time out. It is useful to illustrate facts, but I'm not into using it to invoke an us vs. them vibe anymore. We are all one collective humanity, and we need to do better at policing the rogue elements within from taking advantage of others.

Using that analogy for you benefit, however:

The police may be financially in the bracket of the 99%, but they are the enforcement wing of the 1%. The goal was not to piss them off, it is to provoke the system to follow it's own rules to conclusion, in order to expose the degradation and inherent injustice. Tl;dr: help, help, I'm being repressed.

Also:
OPD riot cops are also certainly not 40k traffic cops. Do your legwork before you come to the table with incorrect platitudes.

Also:
For every labor group you cite which is ostensibly against us, I can show you an organization which is openly constrained by contracts, that surreptitiously send members to our GAs and teach us how to do shit. Don't believe everything you hear on FOX news, kid.
