rly doubt nikolai knew in advance. Even Hobart obviously didn't. It's surely the result of whatever strategy was adopted in the meeting of higher-ups that decided to apply the f2p model to EQ.

vote with your wallet pals. if you fork over a cent to sony in 2012 you are part of the problem

EQ mac player here, newly interested in p99 forums. You guys don't need to worry about getting the word out or advertising your server, as the existence of p99 is well known over there. In many mac players minds, Al'Kabor's status is more like a limbo now, as most of the population is mounting this "save our server" campaign towards SoE, in emails and twitters at their executives, and there is talk of mac port of the current game. There is a legitimate wait and see vibe accordingly. If the server really gets pulled, and as the sunset date approaches (end of march).. that is when you may see a "surge" of interest. But its a bit early as yet.

SoE stated flat out that there's no chance of continuing EQMac in its current form.

I took a visit to the EQMac forum and the community seemed grateful to possibly be getting a Mac port of the current game. So I may have overestimated the intelligence of those guys.

[..] and still get mad when you inspect without asking up front.
Even if I shouldn't care, I find that to be annoying indeed. It was considered rude on Lanys, and Antonius Bayle, especially in classic times, later no one cared anymore anyways. And if you have any level of immersion in the game, i.e. take your fun out of the content as opposed to pissing off other players (which means you have mental issues), it makes sense to have some in-game "feelings".

no i think you have mental issues if you find it offensive if someone doesn't ask your royal permission before looking at your online pixel equipment

I inspect spam Diggle when he's afk just so I might have the chance of bothering him.
