Sounds like he is getting a degree in Math or Physics. Both of which will never make him enough money to cover the cost of education these days. You are better off getting an apprenticeship in something like HVAC. Sure, you will be expected to use your muscles, but you will make a lot more than you would as a math or science teacher.
