Server Select screen Blank

I've been having this problem when trying to run EQLite off of a flash drive at work (shhhh don't tell). Initially, the loading screens are blank. If I leave a blank server select screen up after logging in, it will eventually give me an error "A timeout has occured." After that happens, I flip flop logging in on two different EQEmu accounts and eventually the servers show up. It's not perfect, but that has been my experience.
