Oh yeah, Messianic mentioned bloodgils. They are really nice exp as well and super easy to root/rot. Just buff EB, levi, etc and tear it up. I guess you could quad them too if you wanted to pull em to land though

No need to pull them to land
[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I quadded on top of the water constantly from 42-51 (specs in Oot as well). Pulling to land does make it much easier to loot, but not necessary to actually land your snares/aoes...
What's odd about bloodgills is they have 400-500 less hp than specs but their level range actually has a top end 1 level higher than specs. So that makes them easy caster food. I remember seeing some 49 mage running almost all of the columns out there because of how badly his fire pet tore them apart.
