Game Mechanics: Spell Resistance is way out of line

Just spent like 20 minutes and several attempts to kill the Bard in the Feerot on my 26 shaman, she conned dark blue. First attempt she resisted ALL of my roots, like 6 of them and I had to zone.

Next attempt I started with malise, which was resisted, along with like 75% of all my spells, I literally blew an entire mana bar on her and couldn't get her below 50%. THe other attempts were very much similar.

Heck, earlier in UGuk I tried soloing a light blue and it still resisted like 20% of my spells.

Makes it REALLY tough to level in this game.

You should probably post logs or something. Most people seem to do fine with resists. I almost never get resists on low-dark blues. If a mob is 1 level less than me, then resists are more frequent obviously. As for light blues... I can't even remember the last time I got a resist on one. Anyways I'm not saying you're lying, just post logs.

You've posted 0 conclusive evidence, logs/video/ss/nothing. I can assure you as a L26 bard, I resisted probably 1/20 root-snares and had no partial resist on any dd. Sounds like you fibbin' or exaggerating, bro.

Had random bad streaks leveling doing that. I just e-breathed and ran and reapplied when it wore off. Fuck rooting, fuck healing, fuck affliction, fuck malise. Just ebreath and run.

I would Ebreath, but unfortunately it was resisted most of the time.

I can understand resisting every now and then, but an ENTIRE mana bar on a blue? I mean the bard NPC is most likely only a level below me, but that much resistance on a few tries is really ridiculous.

Well if that is how it was on classic, perhaps I am remembering it wrong. Either way I'll start keeping logs on and submit them when I have a few, to see if it is a bad day or if that is normal.

The RNG is streaky, and some mobs are more resistant than others. Also not all blue mobs are equally resistant. A blue mob 1 level below you is going to resist a lot more than a blue mob 4 levels below you.

But your complaint is nothing that didn't frequently occur on live.
