I think having anon turned off is a courtesy to other players. If they don't give me the courtesy of knowing they were in the zone, then maybe I shouldn't give them the courtesy of me caring what they are camping.

Anon is for *censored*. Roleplay is acceptable. Anon is just bullshit. And even roleplay is usually not needed. The raiding guilds will know where the competition is regardless. And we others really don't give a flying f*ck what wannabe-elitists are raiding ^^

Well having everybody anon and having one person anon letting the other team know where you are can very well be the few minutes head start you need to make it an easy win.
