You all forgot to mention the most important reason not to play SWTOR.

star wars is lame.

Plus I beta'd for it since about August, and was not impressed in any way. It felt like WoW with some half-assed story thrown on top of it. (half-assed = recycled from previous games, or even just repeated within the game itself).

if the warbattlegroundfronts are fun and you can level from them, i couldn't care less about jedi or crappy stories or whatever. as i said in another thread, i leveled exclusively off of warfronts from 1-35 on warhammer online and i had a blast. i only started having reservations about the game once i saw what the endgame was like.
