200 is more than enough to sustain a server. P99 has been way overpopulated for ages, to the point where you can sometimes sit with nothing to do because every piece of worthwhile content is already occupied. Most of the blue server's problem stems from the fact that most of the players are greedy and antisocial, so the reason it's hard to get groups is because people don't want to group. If you try to form a pug, you just get all the terrible newbies. A smaller population at least frees up some content for guild/friend groups and for soloing.

Being an AU player I am used to playing 200ish and below so it is quite doable, would be great to see more but it is not the end of the world.

no...the way to break up a small community is to allow one or two guilds to cblock the rest of the community.

pvp takes care of that problem.

people who cry about being cockblocked will be cockblocked no mater what. even if the two guilds you speak of were disbanded, a group of orc dervishes would come and own the raiding content and you would cry...orc dervish too hard i dont want to invest that much time WAAA!!!!!!!!!!

Its going to be sad after Dec. 20th when SWTOR is released. Between the PVP server splitting the community and that new MMO coming out, p1999 will be in a bad spot.

Yeah go to Star Wars and come back here after you're done doing the WoW clone in space. It has all the hand holdy elements, cross team battlegrounds etc that make me want to vomit.
