I have played a Shaman both live and on here. And I can buff the hell out of one and it really is a pretty small difference. Yeah you get a few more hit points, maybe with Agi get hit a little bit less but no big deal in the long run. I gave up buffing people to heck a long time ago.

Strength helps from being emcumbered dropping your Agi but that is about it.
And having 150 strength on a Ogre Warrior and 50 on a necro is not the only reason a Warrior can take hits. It is game mechanics that do that. Because you can buff a Necro up to 150 strength and they still get the crap beat out of them.

But it all does make a SMALL difference. Which can mean living or dying I guess. Nobody is going to turn them dowm lol.

Now AC that does help.

I have a 12 Pally and a 11 Bard on the blue sever. I can use almost every bit of gear on both of them. Weapons and all. Not 2 hander on Bard. But the Pally can Tank like hell and the Bard is a total piece of crap at tanking even with haste song. I swap out the gear on them a lot. Their total stats are not that much off. Pally is better overall but not by a ton. Like I said it is game mechanics.
