There's a difference between "Not having the time to do anything" and "Actively trying to cover up". Covering up would be that we were implicated in a conspiracy of protecting them and we were trying to hide evidence. Do you have evidence that we are involved? The only "Evidence" your doing is saying that we aren't doing anything about it, which is hardly evidence.
Let me explain something to you. There are only a few people that have access to see the server logs necessary to do RMT investigations, which include all accounts, characters, IP's, logins. To do even a single RMT Investigation takes so much log digging and evidence gathering, its practically hours per situation. You also have to prove that they did it, and by prove I do not mean taking any single person's word for it, otherwise we'd have people giving gifts away in EC then petitioning RMT to get them banned. I would rather see people get away with something they might have done than to see someone get banned for something they didn't do. Investigating these things also takes an open mind. There's no policy or procedure, it takes looking at logs and considering all angles and possibilities of what may have happened. Logs do not tell a story, they only support one. So now that I've hopefully explained just how time consuming RMT investigations are, do you really think I would spend the little time I have trying to track down people spending real money on server items, instead of spending my time working on bugs, improving server performance/stability, implementing new systems to make our jobs easier (both csr and developers), and tracking down exploits and hacks? And before anyone claims "Add more guides".. Yes we probably need to add more guides, but that doesn't help this situation. I never just throw someone I barely know full access to our database.
